The sun is shining and the temperature is getting warmer! Looks like summer is approaching and I have a kind of love hate relationship with it!
I like the sun, the warmer weather is better for my joint pains and it means the weather is a bit more predictable! But the thing I hate about summer is that I don’t feel comfortable with myself even more! I overheat so easily and so I would like to wear certain clothes to stay as cool as possible but they either don’t fit or it shows too much of me! I know I shouldn’t care what other people think, and it’s not really that that’s the problem. I just don’t people to see me looking overweight because I don’t like it.
The good thing about the warmer weather is that I don’t feel like eating too much, and I’ll often eat a lot more healthily. Also with the nice weather, it’s much more likely I’ll walk places than get a bus and generally get out some more so I’ll get some more exercise.
When the weather is good, it should be a time to make you feel good. Get out more and eat fresher foods. You can get fit and healthy whilst having a good time! Think about how you’d like to look on the beach or just on a nice sunny day out wearing looser clothes and feeling great without worrying what you look like. I’m thinking about this a lot more now that summer is pretty much here. I want to look good and feel good and I need to work hard to do it. But it’ll all be worth it.
