Steve Mattioli has won the INBA WA (Natural Bodybuilding) State title for 2011! After a disappointing 4th place in 2009 and winning his class (but not the overall title) in 2007, Steve has finally achieved his goal of winning the Overall state title!
Steve did everything right this year and managed to get in the shape of his life. He dieted for longer than normal, which allowed him to maintain his muscle mass whilst achieving ‘razor-sharp’ condition.
He is currently in Melbourne and will compete for the national title in the Open Men’s tall class tomorrow (October 9th, 2011).
Steve has been a great mate for many years and follows all the principles on this site. I wish him the best of luck in the competition tomorrow and I will let everyone know how he goes. I will also post some pics of him on the site.
Eventhough he is a bodybuilder and building muscle and getting ripped for competition may not be what everyone wants to achieve, nevertheless, the same principles he uses to get ready for competition are the exact same principles everyone can use to achieve their own weight-loss goal.
